Cancer is a traumatic experience for everyone. For a woman with breast cancer, losing your breasts can change your life and the way you feel and look at yourself. Mastectomy save the lives of women, but the results can be hard on their self-esteem. Breasts are naturally part of a woman’s femininity. Seeing the scar and the flatness on your chest can be hard enough, but sometimes a surgeon has to remove the Areola with the nipple as well. Many women seek breast reconstruction after they’ve gone into remission to repair their shape. That’s where we come in.
FAQ
What happens during the procedure?
The 3D Areola Paramedical Tattoo technique creates a realistic 3D image of the Areola and the nipple and can add the image of this important part of your breasts back to your body.
Our very talented and compassionate artist, Zoe, has trained in this form of paramedical tattooing and combined with her artistic skills you can expect the most hyper realistic results.
We will match your natural shape and color of your existing Areola, or in the case of a double mastectomy we will create a new pair of Areola that matches your new breasts shape and your skin tone.
This procedure is best done a few months after breast reconstruction so that the breasts can heal and the shape to settle in. This usually takes about 6 months after the procedure.
